Prices

The table below shows the prices for full-conference and single day attendance.

UK based non-members paying the full-conference registration fee are entitled to 1 year's free membership of ALT, providing a direct debit form is completed to collect future renewal fees, about which ALT will contact you once your registration is confirmed.

Full conference fees cover attendance at all sessions, food and social events in the evening except for the conference dinner on the Wednesday night which will be off campus at the Dynamic Earth Centre. This is in addition to the conference fee at a cost of £55 per head covering transport to and from the venue, a pre dinner drinks reception, three-course meal with wine and entry into the Dynamic Earth Centre Galleries.

Single day attendance fees cover attendance at the sessions in that day, food and social activities for that particular evening and the option to attend the night prior. There will be an extra charge for the conference dinner, as above, at £55 per head for those single day delegates wishing to attend.

Accommodation on campus

Accommodation is not included in the fees above but available at an extra cost through ALT. ALT can only guarantee accommodation in Halls up to and including Friday 11 August 2006.

Off-campus accommodation

If you prefer to stay off-campus, a varied selection of hotel accommodation has been arranged by ALT through Travelocity Business (formerly First-Option) and is available nearby, at preferential rates. This is separate from the ALT Conference registration service. We strongly recommend that this type of accommodation is booked after your place at the conference has been confirmed. Please note that our allocation is only available until Friday 4 August 2006.

Cancellation and substitution policy

Cancellations made on or before Friday, 4 August 2006 will be subject to a £60 cancellation charge. Cancellations made after Friday, 4 August 2006 will not receive a refund. Substitutions are allowable if made in writing before Friday, 18 August 2006.

Conference packs

All delegates will receive on arrival a copy of the Proceedings of ALT-C 2006, a conference programme, a delegate list, the conference abstracts, and a guide to conference facilities, the exhibition, and local information.

We will also send information by email to delegates in advance of the conference, and, from around mid June 2006 onwards, update this page with conference specific information for delegates.
