University accommodation

Accommodation is available in the student halls of Heriot-Watt University:

Single en suite bedroom - a modern study bedroom complete with an ensuite shower and toilet. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, direct dial telephone and Internet access provided by Forevision.

The above is available at a cost of £50 (single rate per night).

We strongly recommend that University hall accommodation is booked at the same time as registering for your place at the conference. Fees must be paid with registration otherwise hall accommodation will not be reserved for you. However, we regret that we have had to close the online booking system, as ALT-C 2006 is now fully booked. In case of difficulty, please contact alt_administrator@brookes.ac.uk. Off-campus accommodation in Edinburgh

If you prefer to stay off-campus, a varied selection of hotel accommodation has been arranged by ALT through Travelocity Business (formerly First-Option) at preferential rates. This is separate from the ALT Conference registration service. We strongly recommend that you book hotel accommodation as early as possible, after registering for ALT-C 2006, as hotel rooms book up very quickly during the conference. Please note that our allocation is only available until Friday 4 August 2006.
