The University of Manchester

ALT-C 2005 will take place on the Sackville Street of the University of Manchester, in the city centre, just five minutes' walk from the Piccadilly Rail Station. This campus is compact, modern, and close to the shops, restaurants and the nightlife of this vibrant city.

The University of Manchester has been created from the merger of The Victoria University of Manchester and UMIST, both well known for their academic achievements and their use of learning technologies.
