Social Programme

A range of social events are on offer at ALT-C 2005 to allow you to meet colleagues and make new friends. Select these events when making your booking and tell us of any dietary requirements.

Monday evening - pre-conference buffet

The opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by a buffet for delegates and exhibitors at 6:30pm in the Renold Building.

Tuesday evening - a Taste of the Orient

Experience the tastes of Manchester's Chinatown with an Oriental dinner in the Barnes Wallis Restaurant. The bar will be open for you to relax with colleagues after dinner.

Wednesday evening - Conference Dinner

A splendid three-course dinner and wine will be served in Manchester's beautiful and historic Town Hall. Live music, dancing and a late bar will be provided.
Please note: the conference dinner is now full. Please email the ALT office should you wish to be added to the waiting list.

Thursday lunch - close of Conference

A buffet lunch will be provided on request.
